Excalibur 3900B Dehydrator
Dehydrate fruits, vegetables, or meats to prepare your own trail mix, fruit leather, or homemade jerky! It still holds most of the original nutritional and flavor. Flavors can even become more intense during dehydrating.
The Excalibur dehydrator's airflow and heat come from the rear of the unit, so cleanup is easy. It provides an even drying process, so there's no need to rotate trays. Its thermostat adjusts between 95 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit. The Excalibur 3900B dehydrator has 15 Square feet of drying surface on 9 trays (each with a stick-resistant mesh insert), a built-in on/off switch, 7-inch fan, and 600 Watts of power. If you have a large families, large gardens, or prefer a trailmix to junkfood, then you will appreciate this dehydrator. The Excalibur 3900B's cabinet blocks light as the food dries to minimize vitamin loss.
Make healthy "Living Foods" at home. Many foods contain living enzymes that are healthy. The adjustable thermostat in the Excalibur dehydrator lets you dry foods at temperatures low enough to keep the enzymes alive. This has been verified and endorsed by several leading experts. Dehydrating doesn't use high temperatures (212 degrees F.) as used in a normal canning process, which leaches out water-soluble vitamins and minerals.
Harvest House Chef chose to sell the Excalibur dehyrator because it is so trouble-free, and our customers love it.

MAKE YOUR OWN BABY FOOD or NUTRITION DRINK MIX.
Turn your dehydrated foods into powder with a blender. Then later, mix the powder with water or milk to create an instant, nutritious baby food, or power-boosted smoothy.
For example: If you want to add carrots to your smoothie, put in a tablespoon of carrot powder.
One of our favorite ways to prepare apples for dehydrating is to pre-soak them in 32 ounces of cranberry juice that has about 6 ounces of "Red Hots" candy dissolved in it. It adds red color and cinnamon flavor to the apples.
