"THE BEST IS HOMEMADE". That has been our motto for 15 years. When you mill your own flour, it still has wheat germ and wheat bran - something you won't find in ordinary flour from the grocery store.

With the Nutrimill's technology and strength you control the flour's texture. Set it coarse for cornbread (large knob rotated to maximum clockwise), or fine for bread flour (knob pointing straight up and down). You can carry-on a conversation while you make flour because it's 50% quieter -- much quieter than old designs. Its new, variable high-speed motor runs cooler for longer milling life. The bowl/drawer easily slips into place to catch your fresh flour.

1 - Make sure the grain you mill is clean -- we recommend triple cleaned. The Nutrimill warranty does not cover rock damage.
2 - High quality bread comes from high quality wheat. Use high protein wheat (14+ percent) and/or add vital wheat gluten so the bread rises well. RYE, OATS, etc. have very little gluten, so if your recipe includes those, you will need to add gluten. NOTE: Use not more than 20% rye or oats.
3 - Make sure your grains are dry. DAMP grain (must be 10% moisture or less), or OILY grains (DO NOT MILL FLAX SEEDS.) may cause your mill to plug up. Oats can have high moisture.
4 - Rotate grain as you would other perishable food items even though, when properly stored, wheat can last 20 years.
